Background:
You receive the following error when opening the Pearl Echo report manager:
Solution:
One of Pearl Echo's active-x components has not been registered or its registration information has been corrupted. This can occur when Pearl Echo is reinstalled on a secondary drive or when another program is installed and alters the active-x registration information in the system registry. To correct this problem, issue the following two commands from a command prompt on the Pearl Echo server:
32 Bit Systems
c:\windows\system32\regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\ChilkatMail.dll
c:\windows\system32\regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\ChilkatUtil.dll
64 Bit Systems
c:\windows\system32\regsvr32 c:\windows\SysWOW64\ChilkatMail.dll
c:\windows\system32\regsvr32 c:\windows\SysWOW64\ChilkatUtil.dll
