Background:
When scheduling a report to be e-mailed, the e-mail arrives but no report is attached. Trying to export the report creates the error, "Failed to export Report."
Solution:
This is a known error caused by Microsoft update KB3102429. To correct, remove the Microsoft update KB3102429 and reboot.
Windows 10
- Go to Start, enter View Installed Updates in the Search Windows box and then press Enter.
- In the list of updates, locate and then select update KB3102429.
- Select Uninstall.
Windows 8
- Select Search.
- Enter Windows Update.
- Select Windows Update and then select Installed Updates.
- In the list of updates, locate and select update KB3102429 and select Uninstall.
Windows 7
- Go to Start then select Run.
- Enter Appwiz.cpl and select OK.
- Select View installed updates.
- In the list of updates, locate and select update KB3102429 and select Uninstall.
