Issue: E-mailed Reports Missing Output Attachment

Background:

When scheduling a report to be e-mailed, the e-mail arrives but no report is attached. Trying to export the report creates the error, "Failed to export Report."

Solution:

This is a known error caused by Microsoft update KB3102429. To correct, remove the Microsoft update KB3102429 and reboot.

Windows 10

  1. Go to Start, enter View Installed Updates in the Search Windows box and then press Enter.
  2. In the list of updates, locate and then select update KB3102429.
  3. Select Uninstall.

Windows 8

  1. Select Search.
  2. Enter Windows Update.
  3. Select Windows Update and then select Installed Updates.
  4. In the list of updates, locate and select update KB3102429 and select Uninstall.

Windows 7

  1. Go to Start then select Run.
  2. Enter Appwiz.cpl and select OK.
  3. Select View installed updates.
  4. In the list of updates, locate and select update KB3102429 and select Uninstall.
